Frequently asked questions

How is Bookily different to regular National Book Tokens gift cards?

A Bookily gift card is automatically topped-up every month, so you can enjoy the fun of choosing a new book every month.

What happens if I don’t spend the money on the card straight away?

Anything you don’t spend stays on your card to use at a later date. Your Bookily gift card doesn't expire until 8 years from the last time it was used, which includes top-up, spending and balance checks.

How do I use my online account?

You can log into your online account with your Bookily card number and PIN. From your account you can download a digital card, receive your monthly book recommendations and send messages messages to the person who bought your Bookily gift card.

What happens if I lose my card?

If you lose your card, ask your responsible adult to get in touch with our customer services team and they can send out a replacement. Any money on your lost card will automatically be transferred over to the new card as well as all future top-ups.
